One Love, One Land: Reggae in the Barn Returns September 18

Maple grove Fam Pound Ridge NY

Looking for a fun night out in Westchester that’s family-friendly, filled with live music, and gives back to the community? Mark your calendar for Reggae in the Barn, hosted by the Westchester Land Trust (WLT) on Thursday, September 18 from 5:30–8:30 pm at the red barn at Maple Grove Farm in Pound Ridge, NY.

This annual fall fundraiser is a favorite among locals, combining reggae music, great food, outdoor fun, and community impact all in one night.

A Night of Music, Food & Fun in Pound Ridge

Guests will enjoy live music from the acclaimed Rho & the Nomads, a Caribbean-inspired menu of food and drinks, and an exciting silent auction. Kids will love the lawn games and face painting, making this a family-friendly Westchester event that everyone can enjoy.

Supporting Local Farms, Food & Conservation

The best part? Every ticket supports Westchester Land Trust’s land conservation mission—including farmland protection and WLT’s food-growing program at Sugar Hill Farm in Bedford Hills.

For over a decade, the WLT garden has provided more than 85,000 servings of fresh vegetables to families in need through partnerships with local food pantries. But after losing a key source of funding in 2025, the program now depends on community support to keep providing fresh, healthy produce to Westchester neighbors.

Our farm garden has been a lifeline for so many Westchester families,” says Kara Whelan, president of WLT. “Reggae in the Barn is more than a fun night out—it’s a chance to celebrate the land and make sure our community continues to thrive.”

Why Attend Reggae in the Barn?

Along with live reggae, food, and fun, you’ll be directly supporting the preservation of more than 9,000 acres of open space in Westchester and eastern Putnam counties, including farmland, trails, and nature preserves.

It’s an evening of music, food, games, and joy—but with purpose,” says Susan Leighton, WLT’s director of development and engagement. “Everyone who joins us can feel proud knowing their good time helps protect the land and feed our neighbors.”
